Avoid planning your honeymoon in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and the eastern seaboard of America between the months of August and October. You may just be caught in a hurricane. Think carefully about travelling to Europe in August. There is a good reason why it is so cheap in August - most European take their holidays then. While it does not mean that Europa is shut down in August, you may just find that many stores and cafes are closed while their owners take a break.
Avoid planning for a romantic honeymoon during the school holidays. That way, you will not need to jostle for space with screaming children everywhere you go.
